New conservation area due to Marubis donation |

MARUBIS e.V, the association for protection of marine endangered species and biotope protection, has been donating 4500 Euro to our project to counteract against the loss of mangrove forests. We will continue with the ongoing restoration in Velivayal and will extend now with their support with the building of new protective fields near the village Adaikkathevan at the mouth of the river Ambuliyar. We will start soon with fencing, canal repair and construction of the needed mangrove nurseries. |
